SunLit® Titan is a new innovative sheetfed ink system designed to meet the demands of the evolving commercial print market to allow increased efficiency and profitability through high speed performance and fast drying.

Sun Chemical is proud to offer this new range which will allow printers to accelerate and optimise their workflow at 2 stages of the process:
  • one-sided printed sheets dry within minutes, which allows almost immediate turnover for reverse print;
  • once both sides are printed, another waiting period is eliminated through quick-drying, so sheets can go straight to processing.
The Titan-effect is enabled by the introduction of innovative raw materials leading to very fast setting as well as fast and thorough oxidative drying. 

The new range can be successfully applied across a variety of substrates and can be used to print a wide range of application.
It is best suited for use in small to medium print runs where workflow efficiency is key, as this delivers the most value. In the case of simultaneous perfecting printing the use of SunLit Titan shortens the waiting period between printing and processing.Printers can also benefit from the fact that the application of a water-based coating is not required.

SunLit Titan delivers immediate value through better usage of the presses: more print jobs can be realised per shift/day without compromising print quality. The application of IR-drying equipment enhances the Titan-effect but it is not mandatory.

Product Features
SunLit Titan inks:
  • are available as a 4 process colour offset ink set
  • are based on a combination of vegetable and mineral oils
  • are duct fresh
  • comply with the ISO 2846-1 and allow printing according to the international standard norm ISO12647-2
  • are oxidative drying
  • are compatible with all aluminium based plates including CtP plates and conventional positive or negative plates
